How To Install Windows 7 Tutorial

Posted by windows 7 on February 10 2010 25 Commented

sevenuser.com In this tutorial I used Active@ Iso Burner – http to burn the ISO image to a bootable disk. You can obtain the Windows 7 RC Install iso’s from Microsoft through to July Once you have burned the ISO to the disk – 1. Adjust your boot order to check for a DVD first 2. Put DVD into drive and start system. 3. Follow instructions and prompts. 4. Note. The larger “primary” drive is what I installed the OS onto, not the smaller “system” drive. 5. Your PC will restart several times during installation, just leave the disk in the drive when it does this. 6. Its a good idea to have your Internet Connection plugged in or wifi enabled so Windows can configure it. 7. Your older beta files are accessible from C:\Windows.old 8. Enjoy the RC, subscribe and visit sevenuser.com

    Hello, i gotta question here:
i had a xp, and i wanted to delete the windows, so i deleted the partition, but i have backed up files.
and each time i press install after selecting the harddrive to install the windows7, it always get stuck on EXPANDING WINDOWS FILES, and then a windows pops up, saying that files in your pc are corrupted or missing.
    HELP

first off clean install will not delete your files… when you bought your pc/laptop your drivers automatically come in your partition even if you format it. if your hdd is 500 gigs you’ll notice if you format it,, its still only 480 gig probably because of OS and drivers. Clean install is safe i did it and made a 32 bit to 64 bit. but you will lose all your personal files so back up i guess
