Having a look at ATI’s most basic product featuring DirectX 11 support for Windows 7 & Windows Vista. The 5450 isn’t going to break any extreme gaming records, but what it will do is provide better than onboard performance, while not breaking the bank.

Upgrading desktop PC hard drive and operating system

After running Windows XP for so many years, I finally decided to upgrade to Windows 7 Professional 64 bit along with installing a fresh new hard drive. This is the phase of upgrading my desktop computer. The first phase was back in September when I upgraded to a new mother board and processor. Now it’s time to upgrade the rest of the machine with a new hard drive and operating system. All is working great and I’m truly happy with the results. April 19, 2010.

Windows 7 has a new feature that makes it easier than ever to set up multi-boot scenarios on a single machine.Boot from VHD allows you to mount a vhd as a bootable drive and, as the name implies, boot from it. It’s a great scenario for creating multiple OS installations without having to create multiple OS partitions on your hard drive.
