Windows 7 vs. OS Snow Leapord?

Posted by windows 7 on February 10 2010 7 Commented

I use to use a Windows Vista and I hated it so I switched to a Mac. I think the Mac is alright and I have been hearing a lot of news on the new and upcoming Windows 7 which I hear will be fantastic. So what do you guys think? Will Windows 7 be better than Snow Leapord?

Snow Leopard is just an OSX update to add 64 bit support to the Mac.

Windows 7 is a completely new Operating System.

This is MS’s entry to finally try and compete with OSX.

If you want to try out Windows 7, just use Boot Camp on your Mac and install it on a second partition. No need to buy a whole new computer.

    snow leopard
because apple is only charging about 15 bucks to upgrade which is a lot better then Microsoft to buy a full new os and its microsoft so u know its going to be glitchy and freezing

Snow Leopard will blow Windows 7 out of the water. 7 is still built on legacy Windows code which is ancient. Snow Leopard will show a fantastic speed increase on every machine it is installed on. Microsoft can’t do anything right, so expect W7 to be a modest success at best.

Plus Snow Leopard will only be $30 and come in two versions, Server and regular. Can W7 show me the same simplicity? I think not.

Stick with your Mac and get Snow Leopard, you won’t regret it!

well this is an opinionated question so dont diss me or anything for stating my opinion

i think windows 7 is better than the snow leopard for the sole fact that its the best os version of windows ever…

the gui of the icons and the taskbar is amazing

the introduction of directx 11 would make my gaming alot better in terms of realism

althought it would take me sometime to learn the changes, its cool though coz im a fast learner.

Go windows 7 for the fact i tried the beta version and it is completely new style just with the great performance of xp and some looks of vista. It really isn’t a whole new software its just they put their two software’s into one to make the best windows ever.but it does come down to what you like best.

From the aspect of software support, Window7 is definitely your first choice. the amount of software for Mac is much smaller than Windows.

Now i’m using Win7 to leave the message for you and till now I haven’t encountered any problem yet! It runs quite fluently with better performance than XP and Vista.

To my view, Vista is actually a piece of s**t, But win7 is really worth for a try~

    Best regards.

It’s really ultimately one of those PC vs. Apple questions than about the OS.

But Windows 7 appears ready to give PC users what they generally expect and want it to be, especially in terms of general stability and smoothness. And Snow Leopard largely sounds like a service pack level update.

Windows 7 will likely make a bigger splash for a lot more people. But you’ll certainly have those who are going to prefer Apple regardless depending on their individual needs.

I don’t know that you can truly compare them directly. It’s really sort of like comparing apples and… oranges. :)
